Reporters Without Borders is saddened to learn that Farhad Taqaddosi, a cameraman working for the Iranian government’s English-language TV news station, Press TV, died yesterday in a Kabul hospital from the injuries he received during Taliban attacks on several buildings in Kabul on 13 September. Afghanistan – Afghan journalist was killed by US soldier who mistook him for Taliban
Reporters Without Borders calls on the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF) to take greater care to protect civilians during clashes with the Taliban after the ISAF revealed yesterday that an Afghan journalist who was killed during a Taliban attack in July was in fact shot by a US soldier who mistook him for a Taliban.
